Kits

We still have kits for the Amish Country Quilt Shop Hop quilt. There are block and quilt kits. Even if you didn't go on the shop hop, or if you didn't get blocks from all the shops, you can still make this quilt. If you haven't seen our quilt stop in. Also, we are working on the newsletter and class list. It should be out soon.

Block of the Month- There is still time to sign up for a BOM program. Spaces are still available in both The Generals' Wives and Aunt Grace's Garden Party. Find more information in the BOM tab at the top of the page. Stop in or call the shop to sign up.

Flannel Sale

Flannel is 20% off this week, Monday, November 21- Saturday, November 26, one yard minimum cut. Stock up for your winter projects.

The shop will be open Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday and closed Wednesday, as always, and Thursday for Thanksgiving.

The Week After

The Amish Shop Hop was a great success. More than 900 quilters and friends came through the store. Everyone was able to find us and liked the new shop. The comments on our shop hop quilt were wonderful.

Dustpan Alert

The Ohio Amish Country Quilt Shop Hop starts on Wednesday. The times are 8:30-7:00 on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and 8:30-6:00 on Saturday. Yes, we are open on Wedneday this week. Every shop on the shop hop is open these days and extended hours.

This is an exciting week because it will be the first shop hop at our new location. Stop by, pick up a free passport, and join in the fun. More information can be found at www.amishquiltshophop.com. See you there.

Covering walls

Little by little samples are being placed on the walls. We miss the loft rail, but have ideas for displaying. New fabric, books and notions are arriving daily, so stop in.

Settling In

It's hard to believe that this is the third week we've been open in the new shop. Almost everything is unpacked, but we're still looking for things. New books and fabric are arriving and we still have a selection of fabric for $4.00 a yard, so stop in.

The General's Wives BOM program starts this month. Call the shop or stop in to sign up.

DUSTPAN ALERT!

Opening day is finally here. We are moved in and somewhat settled. It looks wonderful so come visit us. Many thanks to all the hands that made the move possible. It was alot of work but worth every minute.

Moving Days

The move is on. Everything was packed up and Wednesday morning the move was made to the new shop. Little by little the new shop is taking shape. The shop will be open on Monday, October 3.

14 DAYS!

Yes, the new shop opens in 14 days, Monday, October 3. We are open this week and closed next week, September 26- October1. You should recieve the newsletter this week by e-mail or snail mail. If you don't get it let the shop know. It will also be posted here.

We now have lights and carpet. The lighting is great and carpet is beautiful.

Construction Continues

Workers are making progress daily and the excitement is building. Carpet will be put down later this week!

Dustpan Alert

The move has been scheduled! The shop will be closed Monday, September 26- Saturday, October 1 to move into the new building. We will reopen on Monday, October 3 in Jeromesville. We will still be settling in and most likely moving things around, but we'll be open for business.

Big Sale- Finish the bolt of the $4.00 a yard sale fabric and get it for $3.00 a yard. There is still a good selection and some pieces that would make great quilt backings. The sale ends Saturday, September 17.

Closed Labor Day Monday, September 5
     The shop will be closed for the holiday. We will reopen on Tuesday, September 6.

Construction Update-
     Drywall is up and the shop is really taking shape. It won't be long now.

Here are a couple new pictures of the shop. They don't look much different, but there are some changes inside. It looks like all is on track to move the end of September. Stay tuned!

Sale and Construction Continue

SALE-
Tea towels will be on sale through the month of August for $3.00. This is a good time to stock up for holiday gifts. We have plenty of tea towel patterns with great designs.

CONSTRUCTION-
The construstion is coming right along. The insulation is done and electricians have started work.

This week all tea-towels are $3.00. They are usually $3.50. The sale ends Saturday, August 13.

Construction up-date
No new picture today. The workers were busy yesterday and the cement has been poured for the floor. When the light is better there will be pictures of the progress inside the shop.

Knox County Quilt Show is this weekend. If you get a chance they have a nice show.

CONSTRUCTION NEWS!
It finally happened, there is a building. It happened last week while the picture taker was out of town. Thankfully, Cindy took pictures so you can see the sequence of events.

Wow! The shop is taking shape. Things will slow down now as the inside is started. Stay tuned and we will continue adding pictures.

What's New

Construction continues, well dirt moving continues. We should be seeing actual construction anytime.

The Old Uniontown Quilt Show was fun, and as always many beautiful quilts. It is great to see what other people are doing and get ideas for projects. Below is a picture of our booth.

The Old Uniontown Quilt Show is this Friday and Saturday at Park Steet Brethren Church in Ashland. We will be vending at the show and the shop will still be open. The show is always wonderful, so stop in. Check the "Events" page for details about the show.

It's official. Dirt is being moved, between the rain drops. Next week we'll start adding construction pictures to the blog. It's going to be an exciting summer.
