Christmas Fabric Sale

This week only, December 17-22, all Christmas fabric is 20% off, 1 yard minimum cut. There are some beautiful fabrics so stock up.

Class up-date- The Hunter's Star class has been rescheduled for Saturday, January 12, so it's not too late to sign up. The Dimensional Applique class will be Saturday, January 26 with a follow up class date to be set during the class. Call or stop in for more information.

Holiday hours- The shop will be closed Monday, December 24- Wednesday, January 2 and reopen on Thursday, January 3.

Flannel Sale

Shop Hop Finishing Kits

The Amish Shop Hop last week was a great success! Our tired feet and the plenty of empty bolts are a result. It was wonderful seeing and visiting with everyone as always. Don't forget that we still have some finishing kits for our quilt. We can't wait to hear which shop's quilt won the viewer's choice.

Ohio Amish Country Quilt Shop Hop

It's finally time! This week is the annual Amish Country Shop Hop. It starts Wednesday, October 31 and runs through Saturday, November 3. We will be open 8:30-7:00 on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Simple Pleasures

The theme of this year's Ohio Amish Country Shop Hop is "Simple Pleasures". Dates are Wednesday, October 31 through Saturday, November 3. The shop will be open 8:30-7:00 on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. On Saturday the hours are 8:30- 7:00. See you then.

Classes

The fall newsletter and list of classes is in the works. We do have a Crazy Quilt Block class scheduled for Saturday, October 13. In the class you will learn embroidery stitches on a wool crazy quilt background. Call the shop if you are interested in this class.

Empty the Bolt Sale

This week, August 27- September 1, get 20% off the regular price when you empty the bolt. This is a great way to get backings and backgrounds.

Also, the shop will be closed Monday, September 3 for Labor Day. Have a safe holiday.

Presencia Thread

We now have Presencia perle cotton. It is 100% Egyptian cotton and is a wonderful embroidery thread. The colors are rich and beautiful and there is a good variety of colors. Stop in to see the collection, pick up a pattern and start an embroidery project.

Quilt Show

Entry forms for the Old Uniontown Quilt Guild Show, June 29 & 30, are at the shop. Pick them up and return them to the shop by June 2 to enter a quilt in the show.

If you are finishing a quilt, don't forget our $4.00 sale fabric (1 yard minimum). More bolts have been added and they are perfect for backings!

Memorial Day Closing

The shop will be closed for Memorial Day weekend. We will be closed Saturday, May 26 and Monday, May 28. Regular hours will resume on Tuesday, May 29.

Coming in May

Arriving this month are laser cut fusible shapes from Laundry Basket Quilts. They are part of Edyta Sitar's new line seen in quilt magazines. The fabrics are beautiful and the fusible pieces make for a fast project.

Disappearing Nine-Patch

This Saturday, April 28 is a Disappearing Nine-Patch class. It's a great quilt no matter what your sewing ability. It uses 5" squares and can be made using charm packs or layer cakes. If you are interested call or stop in to sign up.

We now carry a new fusible web called Soft Fuse. And as the name states, it is soft, as is the final applique piece. Soft Fuse also doesn't separate from the paper. It is really nice to use and stitch through. Stop in and get some to try.

Class Schedule Change

The Electric Quilt class scheduled for this Saturday has been moved to Saturday, April 21 from 10:30-1:30. You don't need to own the software to join us in the class. If you have EQ 6 or 7 installed on a laptop you can bring it along and do some designing. Call or stop in to sign up.

National Quilting Day

National Quilting Day is Saturday, March 17. To honor that we are having a finish the bolt sale on March 15, 16 & 17. You will get 25% off the fabric from a bolt that you finish. Be sure to stop in!

We now carry a new magazine by Fons and Porter called Quilting Celebrations. There are projects designed by Patrick Lose who is also the editor. We have all 3 back issues and the spring issue is on its way. Stop in and check them out. We are sure you will be inspired to make the quick and colorful projects.

We are having an empty the bolt sale on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, January 26-28. When you empty the bolt you get 25% off. This includes sale fabrics.
