Quilt Show

Lots happening at the store. We have rearranged the shop and it looks fantastic! The new collection from Edyta Sitar "Something Blue" has arrived and is beautiful. New fabric is being added daily and classes are being scheduled. We will have partial class list and samples with us at the Old Uniontown Quilt Guild show this week. The show is Friday 9-7 and Saturday 9-5 at the Park Street Brethren Church, 619 Park St, Ashland, OH. The shop will still be open while we are at the show. Below are pictures of the Giant Dahlia quilt which is an August class and the "Something Blue" collection.

In this class you will use a jelly roll to make a really cute rug on you sewing machine.. The class fee includes the pattern and a machine needle. Before class you will need sew the jelly roll strips together with a diagonal seam with the dark strips at the end. Call or stop in to sign up and to get a list of supplies. Pieceful Pines Block of the Month

There is still time to sign up for the Pieceful Pines Block of the Month project. This BOM was designed by Pam Buda with fabric from Marcus Brothers. The rich reds, greens and neutrals combine to create a center medallion wreath, surrounded by Log Cabin and Pine Tree blocks. Approximately 80" x 80" The 8-month program begins in April 2018. The cost is $30.00 a month. Stop in to see the sample.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year to all. Our winter newsletter is almost done and we have some great classes scheduled. A Lemoyne Star class is scheduled for Saturday, January 6. We will be using Deb Tucker's Lemoyne Star ruler. There is still room in the class. If you are interested please email the shop at countrycharm@bright.net and we will send you a supply list. The shop is closed till January 4. Hope you are staying warm and spending time sewing.

Classes

There is still time to sign up for the Log Cabin and the Trip Around the World classes. Both are great for quilters of all levels. The Log Cabin class is Saturday September, 10 and the Trip Around the World class is Saturday, September 17 and October 1.
