I Love My Quilt Shop

Saturday is I Love My Quilt Shop Day. On Saturday, January 25, empty any bolt of fabric and recieve 25% off. It's a great day to pick up backgrounds and backings. We still have Chriatmas fabric for 25% off till the end of the month. Don't miss out!

November News

The Farmer's Wife BOM starts this month on Thursday, November 14. The class will meet monthly for 6 months and each month you will learn a technique to mke several blocks from The Farmer's Wife book. Stop in or call to sign up.

It's Shop Hop Time!

Wednesday morning at 8:30 ten shops will be opening their doors for the 2013 Ohio Amish Country Shop Hop. Country Charm Fabrics along with the other 9 shops will be open Wed-Th-Fri from 8:30-7:00 and Saturday from 8:30-6:00. Pick up a passport at any one of the shops and join in the fun. Remember if you get the passport stamped at each shop you will be entereed into a drawing for some great prizes. Farmer’s Wife class- The Farmer’s Wife book contains 113 blocks that are 6” square. The class will meet monthly for 6 months and each month you will learn a technique to make several blocks from the book. 

  Peace & Unity BOM- At the conclusion of the Civil War in April 1865, Americans began the long process of restoring peace and unity to the land. This is a 12 month program that celebrates American resilience and determination.  The fabric is by Judie Rothermel and the quilt measures 70” x 85”. Check out our blog to see a picture of the quilt. Sign up by December 1 to save your spot.

Stacked Coins- This is a fun easy quilt made of strips. Use a jelly roll or cut strips of your own. The sample is done in 30’s prints, but any combination of fabric will work.

The Boss Is Gone Sale!

Yes, the boss will be out of town for the week and we are having a sale. Empty the bolt and get 20% off. This includes sale fabric. This is a great time to get fabric for fall as well as Christmas projects. Stop in and don't forget to sign up for a class while you are there.

Empty the bolt sale runs Tuesday, September 3- Saturday, September 7. We are closed Monday for Labor Day and as always, Wednesday.

Remnant Sale

All remnants in the trunk are 20% off. Stop in to check it out, there are some really nice pieces. Also, be thinking ahead for Christmas. We have some beautiful Christmas fabric arriving and it is a good time to think about presents and projects.

Civil War Fabric Sale

This week only, 20% off all 45" wide Civil War fabric. This is a good time to get backing for a quilt. The sale runs from Monday, August 12- Saturday, August 17.

Also, sign up for a class while you are at the shop. The Farmer's Wife series is filling up, so if you are interested call or stop in to add your name to the class list. The Farmer's Wife class will be starting in November not October.

August Classes

Beginning Machine Quilting and Ice Cream-Little Quilt are the 2 classes being offered in August. The machine quilting class is wonderful no matter what your skill level, and the Little Quilt is a fun quick project. Call or stop in to sign up.

Beginning Machine Quilting- Learn the basics of machine quilting, including tips on thread, batting, layering, and some simple techniques. Class fee includes kit.

We just recieved Kim Diehl's Hearthside Seasons collection. It is beautiful. Stop by to see it and get inspired. We also have some of her books with wonderful projects.

Closed Memorial Day Weekend

The shop will be closed on Memorial Day weekend, Saturday, May 25-Monday, May 27. We will reopen on Tuesday, May 28. Have a safe and fun holiday.

Row Quilt

It's not too late to sign up for the Row Quilt project. Instead of a block a month you get a row each month. The quilt was designed by Cindy and is beautiful. Stop in to see it in person.
